Borussia Dortmund are down in eighth place in the Bundesliga table following the weekend's round of matches, last season's beaten Champions League finalists have reached the last eight of this season's edition despite finishing the league phase in 10th place, but have successfully navigated themselves through to the quarter finals after wins over Sporting Lisbon and Lille.
